Splunk search for Apps Installed in the Environment

Copy
| rest /services/apps/local | search disabled IN ("false",0)| table title version description splunk_server
This search will provide a table off all installed apps which have not been disabled, along with what version is currently installed. What will be visible depends on where the search is run. Any Splunk server that is a search peer of the host it is run on will be included in the results. For this reason it is recommended to run this from the Monitoring Console, because all servers should be a search peer. Useful for checking app version compatibility when performing an upgrade.
